This checklist is drawn from the work CARFAC has done for artists over the years. It includes providing information for artists entering into agreements and helping artists resolve problems that occur during the relationship. At CARFAC we have found that artists who explore the details of what is involved in the relationship in the beginning tend to have fewer problems than those who accept the terms of the relationship without a thorough discussion and understanding of the responsibilities of both players.
