Ingrid Mayrhofer - Voices

For my installation as part of the group exhibition, "Voices," I proposed a series of plates with images from my mother's journey at the end of WW2. My focus on the kitchen table as a vehicle for the narrative is intended to suggest a safe and intimate domestic setting, at the same time as it hints at a deeply entrenched hierarchy through objects. The title of my piece is, "Who do you think you are?"
