Kristian Clarke, Executive Director
An Art History graduate with an additional Certificate in Cultural Management from Humber College, Kristian has worked at CARFAC Ontario for almost ten years. Kristian has particular interests in proposal development, dispute resolution and policy development at municipal, provincial and federal levels. Kristian also sits on the Board for the Canadian Arts Resources Foundation of Ontario (CARFO) and the Advisory Committee for the Council of New Canadians for Arts and Culture (CNCAC) and FUSE Magazine. In his spare time, Kristian can be found engaging in performance-based art projects with his 5 year-old daughter named Phoibe.

Victoria Glizer, Membership Coordinator
Victoria Glizer is an arts management student at the University of Toronto. She is interested in the visual arts and practicing painting and drawing in the abstract style. As part of her curriculum she is taking photography and video. In the future, she plans to further explore photography and video. After graduation she is considering to go to  law school.

 

Alana Leprich, Publications Assistant
Alana is an art history undergraduate at the University of Toronto, where she also serves as vice president of the Fine Arts Student Union and works with the Justina M. Barnicke Gallery. She is particularly interested in works of the 20th century and the local conceptual scene. When not looking at art, she can be found creating and enjoying music.

 

Aysen Farag, Archives and Publications Officer

Aysen recieved her BFA in visual arts at York University in the spring of 2011. She has previously worked for organisations such as the Art Gallery of York University as an Assistant and Curatorial intern, and has volunteered for the Fine Arts Students Ambassadors and Mentors at York University as a Peer mentor, the Toronto International Film Festival and the Living Arts Center. She is interested in advocating rights for artists and funding development, and is currently working to establish her career as both an artist and arts administrator.

 

Diann Missal, CARFAC ONline Coordinator

Diann is a University of Guelph graduate with a BA in History; completed a study-abroad program in Krakow, Poland; participated in a volunteer year abroad program in Newbury, UK; and has experience volunteering in small and large scale galleries.

Stephanie Gardiner Community Officer

Stephanie was raised in Tilbury, Ontario. She completed her Honours BA in Sociology at the University of Waterloo, and her MA in Sociology at the University of Windsor.
Throughout her life, she has involved herself in many different community organizations and volunteer positions; such as Food Banks in both the Kitchener/Waterloo and Windsor regions, volunteering at the Kitchener/Waterloo Soup Kitchen, actively participating and raising monies for Walk-A-Thons, assisting at the local North Bay Humane Society, as well as currently helping local organizations provide education for the youth/young people in the North Bay Region about the dangers of substance abuse and the community resources available to support such problems.
She is adamant about getting individuals within the community involved with both art and community development projects as well as empowering them with relevant information to generate more social action.
