Original Print Publication Agreement (Contract)

Under this agreement, a limited edition original print is limited in number, usually 50‐75 prints or fewer, which are signed and numbered by the artist. An artist engaged in the publication of a limited edition can act in a number of different capacities, including: • as artist and retailer of the prints • as artist and distributor or wholesaler of the prints • as artist and printer and publisher of the prints. This contract is intended as a model for an original print publishing agreement between an artist and a publisher where the artist is also the printer of the edition. Reviewed in 2016.
