Purchase includes English version of this publication. --- Please note that the Visual Artists' Guide to Estates Planning publication contains some elements that are out of date, we are in the midst of getting it reviewed and revised. We have gotten a preliminary review from an estates and wills lawyer, and the following areas should be noted: Copyright protection years to be updated to "a period of 70 years following the end of that calendar year." (currently 50 in the publication) The Living Will (page 6 and page 24) is wrong, living will is not a term used in Ontario—"Ontario law does not use the term “living will’. Sometimes people use the term “advance directive” to refer to a written statement of wishes about future care." more information: Govt. of Ontario, Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee, "Powers of Attorney, Questions and Answers" Apart from those 2 areas, the publication is otherwise still a valuable resource and includes relevant exercises and examples. Once we have an updated version of the Estates Planning publication, we will offer it at no cost to artists who have purchased the current version.
