Artist in residency with Regional Archive x Issues Magazine Shop, Vinessa Redford

Curated by Regional Archive, the Artist in Residence Program extends the art from the printed page to the liminal space of the shop, creating new opportunities to feature Canadian artists working in print and on paper.

Vinessa Redford is a Canadian artist whose practice centres on a contemporary exploration of florals and organic forms. Since 2021, she has developed a style defined by her meditative, expressive engagement with watercolour. Her work is characterized by experimental mark-making and ongoing exploration of palette, texture and form. She shares an intimate view of her creative process on social media as @pigmentsandmood and is currently based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
